New York City, New York – Anita Wise, the cherished comedian and actress best known for her memorable guest role on the iconic TV show, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2025, at the age of 64.
Anita was born on April 12, 1960, in New York City, where she grew up with a natural charm and wit that would later define her successful career in comedy.
Her infectious sense of humor and sharp observational style won the hearts of audiences during her stand-up performances across New York City in the 1980s.
Anita’s big break came in the early 1990s when she landed a recurring role as "Judy" on the hit sitcom, where her impeccable timing made her a fan favorite.
Her career also included numerous late-night shows and comedy specials, where she became known for her ability to tackle everyday situations with humor that resonated across generations.
