Brighton, New York – Anne Mancuso, an 11-year-old student at Brighton Central School District, tragically passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025, following a heartbreaking murder-suicide incident that also claimed the lives of her father and grandmother.
At approximately 11:55 a.m., law enforcement responded to a call about an unresponsive girl found on the front porch of a residence on Hollyvale Drive. Anne was rushed to Strong Memorial Hospital, where she succumbed to gunshot wounds.
Authorities later discovered two additional bodies in a nearby home, identifying Anne’s father, 53-year-old Lawrence Mancuso, and her 74-year-old grandmother, Mary Liccini. Investigators have determined that Lawrence Mancuso took the lives of his daughter and mother before ending his own.
