Chloe Alyssa Ramsubhag, Waterbury, Connecticut

Shelton, Connecticut – A devastating tragedy struck early Sunday morning, January 12, 2025, when 14-year-old Chloe Alyssa Ramsubhag lost her life in a fatal three-car collision on Route 8 near Shelton.

At approximately 12:30 a.m., a Honda CR-V driven by a 38-year-old man from Shelton collided with a Honda Civic, which was driven by a 37-year-old man from Waterbury.

The impact caused the Civic to lose control, crossing the center median and entering the southbound lanes of traffic.

There, it collided with a Honda Accord driven by a 22-year-old male from Stamford.

Chloe, a passenger in the Honda Civic, tragically succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

The driver of the Civic was transported to St. Vincent Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The driver of the Honda Accord initially left the scene but later sought medical attention at Griffin Hospital for undisclosed injuries.

He was subsequently transferred to Bridgeport Hospital for further care.

State police are continuing their investigation to determine the cause of the collision, with authorities urging anyone with information to come forward.

Chloe’s passing has left her family and the community in mourning as they cope with the profound loss of a young life taken too soon.
