His untimely death has sent shockwaves through the communities he touched, particularly the Delaware Ducks Youth Hockey Club and the Eastern Shore Hockey Association (ESHA), where he made a profound impact.

Dave was more than just a coach; he was a pillar of strength for his family and the hockey community. Known for his unwavering commitment to his loved ones, he prioritized family above all else, spending countless hours cheering on his children and being an active presence in their lives.
