Mt. Juliet, Tennessee – David Elrod, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on January 16, 2025, in his hometown of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.
David, 68, was known for his quiet strength, unwavering commitment to his family, and his dedication to his community.
Born on October 12, 1956, to the late Carl and Elizabeth Elrod, David grew up with a deep curiosity and strong work ethic that stayed with him throughout his life.
He graduated from Mt. Juliet High School and went on to build a respected career in the construction industry, where his attention to detail and skill earned him the trust of many colleagues and clients.
David married his soulmate, Karen Adams, in 1980, and together they raised two children, Jessica and William Elrod, and were blessed with six grandchildren.
A man of great faith and service, David was deeply involved in the Mt. Juliet community and a proud member of Mt. Juliet First United Methodist Church.
He enjoyed the outdoors, woodworking, and spending time with his family, often sharing his craft with those he loved.
David will be remembered for his kindness, compassion, and the positive impact he had on all who knew him. His family will hold a celebration of his life on January 19, 2025, at Mt. Juliet First United Methodist Church.
