Bend, Oregon – Dwight Johnson, the founder of Bend Soap Company, tragically passed away on January 4, 2025, in a fatal accident.

He was 44 years old.

Dwight’s sudden death has left the Central Oregon community in mourning.

Known for his unwavering faith, entrepreneurial spirit, and deep love for his family, Dwight was a pillar in the community.

A devoted husband to Marilee, whom he married in 2003, and a loving father to their nine children, Dwight dedicated his life to both his family and his work.

In 2011, he founded Bend Soap Company, creating high-quality, all-natural skincare products inspired by his son’s struggle with eczema.

The company quickly became a beloved brand, known for its chemical-free goat milk soaps.

"Dwight poured his heart into every bar of soap," shared a loyal customer, "his products embodied his passion for family and care for others."
