Winnipeg, Manitoba – Jack Schultz, a respected Operations Manager at Veritiv Canada, tragically passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 56.

His unexpected death has left a deep void in the Winnipeg community, where he was beloved as a partner, father, friend, and professional.

Jack’s partner, Tobi Lynne Arbuckle Schultz, shared the heartbreaking news, remembering him as “my person, my partner in crime.” She added, “He left exactly how he would’ve wanted: young and good-looking, as he always said.”

Born on August 8, 1968, Jack approached life with a passion and joy that defined his character. He was known for living life on his own terms, always emphasizing, “No one should ever feel sad for me. I did what I wanted.”

Jack was a devoted father to Kelton and Shelby, and he shared a remarkable 26-year partnership with Tobi. Together, they built a life filled with adventure, laughter, and love.

In his professional life, Jack earned admiration for his leadership as Operations Manager at Veritiv Canada, where his storytelling and quick wit made him a cherished figure among colleagues.

Tobi expressed gratitude for the support pouring in from family, friends, and colleagues, saying, “Kelton, Shelby, and I want everyone who has reached out to know just how much it means to us.”
