Clarkston, Michigan – James Robert “Jim” Thibodeau, a cherished son, brother, grandson, and friend, tragically passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at the age of 28.
Jim’s life was a testament to kindness, dedication, and love for his family and friends.
He was the beloved son of Robert and Karen Thibodeau and the treasured sibling of Mikayla, Thomas, Kateri, Joe, Kathleen, and Tim Thibodeau.
Jim was also a loving grandson to Ruth Ann Thibodeau and Jim and Kathleen Taube.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Robert Thibodeau and close family friend Newell Whitney.
Jim was a graduate of Everest Collegiate High School & Academy in 2015 and later earned a degree in mechanical engineering from Oakland University.
Jim’s vibrant life was filled with passions such as fishing, sports, and country music, as well as his exceptional culinary talents.
His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family, including aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
The family will host a visitation and prayer service on Friday, January 17, 2025, at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home in Clarkston, followed by a Funeral Mass on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at St. Daniel Catholic Church in Clarkston.
Jim’s memory will continue to inspire all who knew him.
