Lara, a lifelong resident of Hauppauge, New York, is remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unyielding dedication to those around her.
Her sudden death has left an immense void in the lives of her family, friends, and the entire community that she touched with her compassionate spirit.
Born on August 10, 1991, in Smithtown, New York, Lara was the daughter of Stephen and Elizabeth Damadeo.
Her curiosity and zest for life were evident from a young age, and she continued to shine throughout her years in Hauppauge.
A graduate of Hauppauge High School in 2009, Lara was known for her academic achievements and her selflessness in helping others.
Her kindness and volunteer efforts were especially evident in her involvement with local events and causes.
Lara’s journey led her to the University of New York at Albany, where she pursued a degree in Communications and embraced leadership roles in community service.
In her professional life, Lara excelled in public relations, gaining a reputation for her dedication, creativity, and ability to connect with people.
Her friends and family remember Lara as a constant source of support, always willing to lend a hand or offer guidance.
Outside of work, Lara had a passion for reading, art, and travel, and her love for animals was demonstrated through her volunteer work at animal shelters.

She is survived by her parents, Stephen and Elizabeth Damadeo; her siblings, Michael and Christine; her nieces and nephews; and a wide circle of extended family and friends.
