Colerain Township, Ohio – Robert D’Anthony Simmons, a 33-year-old man, has tragically passed away following a devastating rollover crash on Interstate 275 in Colerain Township early Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:40 a.m. on January 15, 2025, when the vehicle Mr. Simmons was traveling in overturned multiple times near the I-74 interchange at Ronald Reagan Highway.
Emergency responders transported both individuals involved in the crash to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with severe injuries.
Sadly, Mr. Simmons succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving at the hospital.
Investigators suspect alcohol may have played a role in the accident, though the investigation is still ongoing.
The crash temporarily closed the westbound lanes of I-275, but authorities have since reopened all lanes.
Tributes have poured in on social media as friends and family remember Mr. Simmons. One person expressed, "Rest in peace Robert, you will be missed."
