Chipman, New Brunswick – The small community of Chipman was rocked by the tragic deaths of Robert Waugh, 47, and Victoria King, 23, following a horrific incident on November 25, 2024.
At approximately 8 a.m. that morning, the Chipman RCMP responded to a report about a vehicle engulfed in flames off Midland Road.
Upon their arrival, authorities discovered the lifeless bodies of the two victims inside a white Chevrolet Equinox, which had been severely damaged by fire.
The Major Crime Unit later confirmed the deaths were homicides.
Both victims were residents of the Fredericton area, and their sudden passing has left their families and friends devastated.
Authorities had earlier released an image of a red Toyota Corolla, which was believed to be linked to the case, and reportedly seen in the Chipman area during the late evening of November 24 and early hours of November 25.
