RAF Brize Norton, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom – It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Air Specialist (Class 1) Samuel ‘Sam’ Odotei, a dedicated member of 99 Squadron, RAF Brize Norton, who tragically passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025.

Sam’s death has left a deep void in the hearts of his colleagues, friends, and family.

Known for his unwavering professionalism and commitment to his work, Sam was an invaluable part of the RAF community.

He served as an Avionics tradesperson, responsible for ensuring the functionality and maintenance of vital aircraft systems.

His role was critical to the success of military operations, ensuring that aircraft could operate safely and effectively.

Colleagues at RAF Brize Norton have expressed their deep sorrow, remembering Sam for his technical expertise, sense of humor, and strong work ethic.
