Wausaukee, Wisconsin – The Wausaukee community is mourning the sudden loss of Sandra A. Kollenbroich, 48, who tragically passed away in a single-vehicle accident on the evening of Friday, January 25, 2025.
Deputies from the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a potentially intoxicated driver near State Highway 180 and Old County C at 8:32 p.m. They later arrived at the scene of the crash at 9:12 p.m., where Sandra’s vehicle was found in a cluster of pine trees after leaving the road.
Authorities confirmed that Sandra was traveling eastbound on State Highway 180 when she failed to navigate a turn, entered a ditch, and collided with a tree. Sadly, Sandra sustained fatal injuries in the crash and was not wearing a seatbelt at the time.
Sandra was known for her kindness and compassionate nature, which left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Friends and family have expressed deep sorrow over her sudden passing, noting her unwavering support for the Wausaukee community.
