Duluth, Minnesota – Simon Koski Holmes, a beloved father, friend, and community leader, tragically passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 45.
His unexpected passing has left a deep sense of loss in the Duluth community, where he was known for his kindness, dedication, and unwavering commitment to helping others.
Simon was born on March 5, 1979, in Duluth, and was the eldest of three children. He grew up in a home filled with love and laughter, and from a young age, he was known for his inquisitive mind, compassionate nature, and vibrant sense of humor.
Throughout his adult life, Simon worked tirelessly as a community outreach coordinator, dedicating himself to supporting local charities and youth programs. He was a passionate advocate for educational initiatives and always sought to ensure every child had the resources they needed to succeed.
