Alora Alexandra Beam, Mesa, AZ — The Mesa community is deeply saddened by the unexpected passing of Alora Alexandra Beam on June 11, 2024. Born on March 6, 1997, in Phoenix, Arizona, Alora’s life was a testament to resilience and creativity.
Alora was known for her love of painting, drawing, and her passion for the Korean boy band BTS. She cherished her pets, especially her cat named Shelbi. Despite facing significant health challenges, including a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy and scoliosis, Alora maintained a positive and loving spirit.
After losing her mother at the age of 11, Alora entered the foster care system until she met Paulann Tracey in 2010. Paulann, initially a caregiver, welcomed Alora into her home permanently. This marked the beginning of a stable and loving home life for Alora, free from the instability of foster care.
In 2016, Alora faced another significant health battle when she was placed in a medically induced coma for nearly eight months. Defying all odds, she recovered and regained her ability to talk, eat, and drink, even surprising her doctors.
Recently, Alora had been eagerly awaiting the return of BTS member Jin and planning to celebrate their 11-year debut anniversary. Tragically, she passed away due to natural causes on the morning of June 11, 2024, after experiencing severe headaches.
Jackie Estrada has organized a fundraiser to help cover Alora’s final expenses and give her the celebration of life she deserves. The goal is set at $2,500, and the community is encouraged to donate and share the fundraiser.
Jackie Estrada shared on Facebook, "Anything helps, even a share! Please help give Alora Beam the celebration of life she deserves!" Paulann Tracey, along with many others, expressed their heartfelt condolences and shared memories of Alora.
