Tawnya House, Vero Beach, FL — The community is mourning the loss of Tawnya House, who tragically passed away on the night of June 30th, 2024. She was 46 years old. Tawnya was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, known for her loving nature, kindness, and outgoing personality.
Her passing has left a significant void in the lives of her three adult children and three grandchildren, with one more grandchild on the way. A fundraiser organized by Christina Huff has been launched to help cover Tawnya’s Celebration of Life and expenses. So far, $535 has been raised out of the $15,000 goal, with contributions from generous donors like Clara Sepulveda, Amya Baxley, Kimberly Wagner, Neve Hall, and Amanda Wagner.
The community has expressed their condolences and support through touching Facebook posts. Brittany Steinwedel shared, "Our family navigates a difficult time saying goodbye to a lifelong family friend in a tragic way. Tawnya House was my mom’s best friend and basically my aunt. She and her mom babysat me when I was just a baby. She took care of us when we needed it, and us them. They were part of the family we never had. Please pray for the family and loved ones she leaves behind grieving the unimaginable." Christina Huff also posted a heartfelt message asking for prayers and support for Tawnya’s family.
The family has decided not to release further information due to the ongoing investigation into Tawnya’s death. They request privacy and support during this incredibly challenging time.

I knew Tawnya through a dear friend of mine. I spoke with her numerous times via FaceTime. She was so kind and had a beautiful family. My heart is broken for her family and friends. This is a devastating loss. I pray her family finds peace during this horrific time.
