Abel Lopez Amaral, Orosi, CA—The Orosi community is deeply saddened by the passing of Abel Lopez Amaral, who died on October 21, 2024, at the age of 36. Abel’s passing occurred on the same day as his wife’s birthday and their wedding anniversary, leaving his family and friends in profound sorrow.
Abel was a devoted father to four children, with the youngest daughter being only 12, and a loving husband who shared over 20 years of marriage with his wife. Known for his hard-working nature, Abel always brought smiles to those around him, remaining cheerful even in the most challenging times.
After spending over a month in the hospital receiving treatment for liver failure, Abel entered hospice care about a week before his passing. Born on December 6, 1987, in Jalisco, Mexico, Abel spent over 10 years in Orosi, CA, where he made memories with his family and children. Although his mother and other siblings still live in Jalisco, Abel will be laid to rest where he spent the majority of his life with his loved ones in California.
In honor of Abel’s life, a fundraiser has been set up by Dalia Moran to cover funeral and memorial expenses. As of now, the fundraiser is awaiting its first donations. The community is asked to come together to help support Abel’s family during this heartbreaking time and give him the farewell he deserves.
