Abigail Hudson, from the Howley community, passed away following the tragic events of Saturday, 19th October. Abigail, affectionately known as Abi, was a cherished member of the local dance community, and her passing has left her friends and family heartbroken.
A GoFundMe page has been organized by her close friend Ben Parish to honor her memory and fulfill one of her final wishes—completing the dream garden she adored, creating a space where her family can remember her. The fundraiser has received an outpouring of support, with recent donations from friends and well-wishers, including Terri Walker, Richard Harrison, and Adam Jones.
Tributes have flooded social media. Charlie Kelly wrote, "Utterly heartbroken…Abi, you really were one of a kind and I’ll cherish and remember the incredible dance memories we had." Katie Ess commented on a shared photo, saying, "Her face in the picture—she looks so happy and beautiful." Another heartfelt message came from Sarah Elizabeth Crane, who expressed, "Just donated. Sending love to you all. Heartbreaking! A beautiful thing to do for the family."
Eihpos L-w shared her sorrow, writing, "Oh my god. I’m so sorry to hear this! She was a lovely lady!!"
Abigail’s influence stretched far beyond her family, touching the lives of many in the Perryfields and Howley communities, as well as through her involvement with Next Level dance. Her memory will continue to live on through the love and support shown by those closest to her.
We extend our deepest sympathies to Abigail’s family and friends during this difficult time. May her legacy be forever cherished, and may her family find solace in the love and memories she left behind.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
