Adan Gallardo, Western Hills, CO — The community is mourning the loss of Adan Gallardo, who passed away recently. Adan was a beloved son, friend, and colleague, remembered for his kindness, drive, and free spirit.
Adan, the middle child of Graciela and Gregorio, spent his early years at Eagleton elementary school and returned last year to work as a custodian while finishing welding school. He began his welding career at 19 and was starting to receive job offers in different locations. His dream was to work in welding, a dream he pursued passionately.
In June, while working out of state, Adan was diagnosed with cancer. He returned home to Colorado for treatment, determined to be with his family. Despite two surgeries and one round of chemotherapy, the treatments were unsuccessful, and Adan passed away unexpectedly at home.
The sudden nature of his illness and passing has left his family grappling with immense grief and financial burdens, including medical bills and funeral expenses. A fundraiser organized by Carolina Guzman has been launched to support the Gallardo Ricalday family during this difficult time. So far, $100 has been raised out of the $45,000 goal, with the first donation from Nancy Banuelos.
The community’s outpouring of support highlights the impact Adan had on those around him. Friends and family are reaching out to help cover expenses and offer relief to his grieving family.
