Adeola Adewara, Houston, TX— The passing of Adeola Adewara has left his family and friends heartbroken. Adeola, a loving husband and father of three, tragically passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024, at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in Houston, Texas.
Mr. Adewara had recently traveled from Nigeria to attend the wedding of his son, Ryan, on August 21, 2024. His return to Nigeria was delayed due to flight cancellations on September 16 and 17, and during this period, he fell ill. Despite receiving medical attention, he sadly passed away, leaving behind a deep void in the hearts of those who knew him.
His family is now facing immense emotional and financial challenges. A fundraiser has been organized by Olatunde Olanrewaju to help support Adeola’s wife and children. The funds will cover expenses related to funeral arrangements both in the USA and Nigeria, including airfreighting his body back to Nigeria for burial. Additionally, contributions will assist the family with day-to-day expenses as they cope with this tragic loss.
At this difficult time, the community has come together to show support. An anonymous donor has already contributed $300 to the GoFundMe campaign, and further donations are being sought to ease the family’s burden.
Adeola Adewara was known for his kindness, humility, and love for his family and friends. His passing has touched many, and his memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Our deepest condolences go out to the Adewara family during this difficult time. We pray for comfort, strength, and healing for his loved ones.
