Akaysha Lynn Berensen, Salt Lake City, UT— Akaysha Lynn Berensen, age 26, passed away unexpectedly on November 17, 2024, leaving behind a community in deep sorrow. Known for her loud, contagious laughter and radiant smile, Akaysha touched the hearts of everyone she met. She was an incredibly loving and devoted mother to her children, RoseAlee and Luka, putting them above all else in her life.
Akaysha’s family, especially her mother Alicia Callor, are devastated by her untimely passing. She was preceded in death by her father Casey Berensen, grandmother Lori Falsone Laws, and great grandparents Sam and Lorraine Falsone.
In a heartfelt tribute, her aunt Jessica Spittler has organized a fundraiser to help provide Akaysha with a proper memorial service and celebration of life. The goal is to honor Akaysha’s memory and provide support for the family in this difficult time. So far, $1,163 has been raised through generous donations, including contributions from Harold Runge, Alex Weimer, and others.
Akaysha will be remembered for her strength, independence, and vibrant personality. Her love for life, joy, dancing, and singing brought light to everyone around her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
The memorial service is set for Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Mitchell Funeral Home in Price, Utah, where visitors will be welcomed an hour prior to the service. A luncheon will follow immediately at the Notre Dame Hope Center.
