The eldest son of the Ivanov family, Alex had been living in Ukraine in recent years, but his family resides in Inman, South Carolina. His sudden passing has deeply affected his loved ones, who are struggling to come to terms with the loss.
Alex’s mother, Tatyana, who has recently been diagnosed with lymphoma, and his father, Leonid, who is recovering from a stroke and currently in a wheelchair, are enduring significant health challenges of their own. The financial burden of bringing Alex back to the United States for burial is unfortunately too great. As a result, Tatyana and Alex’s sister will travel to Ukraine to lay him to rest.
