Alexander Francis Stout, Reevesville, SC— It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alexander Francis Stout, who tragically left us on November 11th, 2024, at the age of 28. Alexander, known affectionately as Alex, was a cherished son, brother, and friend whose kindness, creativity, and compassion touched the lives of all who knew him.
Born on January 4th, 1996, Alex grew up with a deep love for animals, which remained a defining characteristic throughout his life. His bond with his pets, particularly Reese’s, brought him comfort during difficult times as he battled chronic illness and pain. His resilience and positive attitude were a source of strength for those around him.
An avid online gamer, Alex formed lasting friendships within his gaming community, where his humor, strategic thinking, and welcoming nature made him a beloved teammate. In 2023, a group of his online friends gathered in New Orleans to celebrate their friendship and the memories they shared.
Alex’s passion for history, his creativity, and his ability to connect with others will never be forgotten. He attended Clemson University for two years before transferring to Full Sail University, where he earned a degree in Game Design and Cybersecurity.
Alex leaves behind his parents, William and Jennifer Stout, his brother Brandon and sister-in-law Danielle Stout, his extended family, and a close-knit group of friends who will miss him deeply. His beloved pets, Revan, Maple, and Onyx, also survive him.
A celebration of Alex’s life will be held at his home on a future date, to be determined. In honor of Alex’s memory, his family requests that donations be made to Dorchester Paws or the National Neutropenia Network.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time.
