Alyssa Denise Bosler, Oviedo, FL—The Bosler family is facing an unimaginable loss after the passing of Alyssa Denise Bosler. Alyssa had been missing since early August after leaving a treatment facility and was found a few days later, without identification. Her body remained unidentified until the morning of September 16, 2024. Her father, Kenneth Bosler, is now organizing a fundraiser to cover the costs of bringing her home, cremation expenses, and a small memorial service.
Alyssa’s story is one of resilience from the beginning. Born prematurely on October 28, 2001, weighing just 1 pound 3 ounces, she spent months in an incubator, battling for survival. Despite challenges like poor vision due to Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) and later, mental health struggles, she grew up with a strong will to live.
Her father, Kenneth, is now seeking help to bring his daughter back from out of state, where her body remains. He hopes to honor her memory with a small service on her upcoming birthday, October 28, 2024, which would have been her 23rd birthday.
We are deeply saddened by Alyssa’s passing, and our thoughts and prayers go out to the Bosler family during this incredibly difficult time.
