Angela Swaisland, England—In deepest sadness, the family and friends of Angela Swaisland have come together to mourn her passing. Angela passed away on 13th October 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Her strength and determination touched the lives of many, and her loss is deeply felt by all who knew her.
Angela first experienced health concerns a couple of months ago when she was treated for a chest infection and headaches. Despite receiving treatment and returning home, her condition worsened over time. After being admitted to the hospital, Angela received the devastating news that she had a brain tumor. Throughout her illness, Angela remained hopeful and fought bravely, famously telling her loved ones, "I GOT THIS." Even after undergoing surgery to remove the tumor, her fight continued as doctors discovered that the cancer had spread throughout the left side of her body.
Angela’s health took another turn for the worse when her immune system, weakened by cancer, could no longer fight off a second chest infection. Despite the best efforts of her family and medical team, she succumbed to Metastatic Squamous Cell Cancer of the Lung. Angela left behind four children, who were by her side throughout her battle, and they are now grappling with the heavy loss.
In the wake of Angela’s passing, her close friend Kelly Toye has organized a fundraiser to help support her children in their time of need. The community has shown an outpouring of love and support, with donations already coming in to assist with funeral costs and other expenses. Shell Robertson, Paula Wilson, and Lewis Davy are among the early contributors, offering donations to help ensure Angela’s children can provide her with the farewell she deserves.
We extend our heartfelt prayers to Angela’s children and family during this unimaginably difficult time. Angela’s bravery and love will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
