Arthur G. Bauman, Lake Stevens, WA—The community is mourning the recent passing of Arthur G. Bauman, who left us on September 13th, 2024. This sudden and unexpected tragedy has deeply affected his family, especially Peggy Sue, the love of his life, who now faces tremendous emotional and financial hardships.
Arthur and Peggy shared a bond many only dream of, spending cherished moments together watching the sunrise with coffee in hand and enjoying simple pleasures like listening to country music. They were in the process of remodeling the home Peggy had lived in her entire life, with hopes of growing old together there.
The couple’s life was unexpectedly turned upside down when Arthur was admitted to the hospital on September 10th, 2024. Tragically, just three days later, on September 13th, Arthur passed away, leaving Peggy heartbroken. Having once worked as a nurse, Peggy herself now struggles with lasting health issues due to a severe COVID-19 case that compromised her lung capacity, making it impossible for her to work.
In this difficult time, Peggy’s niece, Jessica Lind, along with her mother, Judy Blumenauer, has organized a GoFundMe campaign to help raise $10,000 for funeral expenses and medical bills. As of now, the fundraiser is still seeking its first donor, but the hope is that the community will come together to support Peggy in her time of need.
We extend our deepest sympathies to Peggy, Jessica, and all of Arthur’s loved ones. Our hearts go out to them, and we pray they find comfort and strength in the days ahead.
