Azuani Corona, Peachtree City, GA—The community is mourning the tragic loss of Azuani Corona, who passed away recently at the young age of 24. Azuani was a beloved mother, wife, and cherished member of her community.
Azuani suffered from seizures, and her last seizure tragically stopped her heart and left her without oxygen for too long. She was declared brain dead and was taken off the ventilator on July 31, 2024. Her sudden passing has left her family and friends in deep sorrow. She leaves behind her loving husband and two beautiful children, aged 3 years and 9 months.
Her niece, Crystal Corona, has organized a fundraiser to help cover the funeral costs and support her grieving family during this difficult time. As of today, the fundraiser has raised $85 out of the $5,000 goal, thanks to the kind donations from Jasmine Thomas, Shadai Crighton, an anonymous donor, and Axcel Cacao Maquin.
The community has come together to show their support and sympathy through touching Facebook posts. Areli Venegas wrote, "I ask you please if you can support by donating a dollar it makes a difference and if you can’t donate by sharing you also help."
Azuani’s family and friends will always remember her as a loving mother and wife, whose presence brought joy to those around her. The memory of her kindness and love will forever remain in their hearts.
We are deeply saddened to learn of Azuani Corona’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family during this challenging time.
