At 52 years old, Ben was known for his infectious personality and caring nature. He was always ready to help anyone in need, and his presence touched the lives of all who knew him.
Ben’s sudden death occurred due to a medical emergency while at home, caused by a rare complication of a weakened aortic artery that perforated while he was fixing the dryer. His family, including his fiancée Jessica Byland, with whom he had been together for 14 years, and their two adult children, Bailey and Logan, are devastated. Ben also leaves behind his three grandchildren, Liam, Kyla, and Daxton, all under the age of 8.
