Benji Chrisler, St. Paul Park, MN— Benji Chrisler passed away unexpectedly on the evening of September 25th. Known for his kind and generous spirit, Benji’s sudden passing has deeply impacted his family, friends, and coworkers.
Earlier that day, Benji had called into work, informing his employer that he wasn’t feeling well and had trouble breathing. Unfortunately, later that evening, after several attempts to contact him went unanswered, a welfare check by the St. Paul Park Police Department revealed that he had passed away in his apartment.
Benji, who worked in Cottage Grove at places like Taco Bell, Family Dollar, and most recently, Hy-Vee, was a familiar and beloved figure in the community. He cherished spending time with his daughters and grandchildren, ensuring that everyone he loved felt appreciated.
In the absence of life insurance, Benji’s family has been left to handle the financial burdens related to his passing. A fundraiser has been organized by Jaclyn Ott and others to assist with expenses, particularly to help cover travel costs for Benji’s daughters, two of whom live out of state and need support returning to Minnesota.
The community has already begun showing their support through generous donations. Contributions from Carrie Booth, Nathaniel Cox, and Kathy Ott have started to flow in, but more is needed to help the family in this time of grief.
Benji’s family is in the process of planning his memorial service, with details expected to be announced soon.
We extend our deepest sympathies to Benji Chrisler’s family. Our thoughts and prayers are with them as they navigate this heartbreaking loss.
