Bettie Etienne, Randolph, MA— Bettie Etienne passed away tragically early on Tuesday morning while on her way to work at Horizon Vert in Randolph. She was crossing the street when she was struck by a vehicle and later pronounced dead at the hospital. Her untimely death has left her family in profound grief and struggling with medical bills and funeral arrangements.
Bettie, originally from Cap Haitien, Haiti, moved to the United States in November 2023. She had quickly become a cherished member of the Horizon Vert Naturals team, starting in production and then transitioning to the office, where her quiet demeanor and infectious smile brightened the workplace. Her colleagues describe her as a calming presence who ensured the office ran smoothly, and she will be deeply missed by her small, close-knit work community.
Bettie leaves behind her brother, Wislet, with whom she lived, as well as an aunt and cousin. Her family and friends are now dealing with the difficult burden of planning her final services.
A fundraiser has been organized by Maly Paul to support Bettie’s family during this incredibly hard time, with the goal of covering funeral expenses and medical bills. As of now, $1,050 has been raised through generous donations from individuals such as Anonymous, Maly Sebastien Paul, and Julie Kelly.
Our hearts go out to Bettie’s family, friends, and colleagues at Horizon Vert Naturals. May her memory live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
We are deeply saddened to learn of Bettie Etienne’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
