Binh Kien Voong, Pomona, CA—It is with great sorrow that we report the passing of Binh Kien Voong. He passed away peacefully in his sleep after a brave battle with stage 4 renal cancer, surrounded by his loving family. Binh’s humor and uplifting spirit touched many, even during his difficult time at the hospital over the last month.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Phuc (Lily), and his two daughters, Anh and Jaime. His family, as well as siblings residing in London, are deeply heartbroken by his sudden passing. Binh worked tirelessly to provide for his family, and his absence is profoundly felt by those closest to him.
In honor of Binh’s life, a fundraiser has been organized by Hana McCanless and Cindy Tran to assist the family during this challenging time. The funds will go towards a memorial and celebration of Binh’s life, helping his family to navigate their grief.
The memorial service for Binh Kien Voong will take place on October 29, 2024, at 1 pm at the Garden of Commemoration in Rose Hills Cemetery, Whittier, CA. Community members and friends are encouraged to attend in remembrance of Binh’s remarkable life.
