Bob Martinez, affectionately known as "Spider," has passed away, leaving his family, friends, and community in mourning. Bob, a dedicated school custodian for 25 years, suffered a sudden cardiac arrest at his home on Sunday, October 6th, and was rushed to the Ridges in Burnsville. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, he passed away the following day, on October 7th.
Bob was a loving husband, a caring father, and a true friend to those who knew him. His warmth, humor, and unwavering commitment to his family and the school community have left an indelible mark on many lives.
In honor of Bob’s memory, a fundraiser has been organized by Mark Glende to support Bob’s wife, Annette, and the Martinez family during this difficult time. The funds raised will go towards funeral expenses and providing financial support to help the family navigate the challenging weeks and months ahead. Any donation, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated.
Bob’s presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. The love and support from the community reflect the significant impact Bob had on those around him.
We extend our heartfelt prayers to Bob’s family and loved ones. May they find peace and strength during this time of sorrow.
