Bradley Matthew Heacock, age 33, of Lapeer, Michigan, passed away on October 11, 2024, in St. Clair County, Michigan. A former resident of Hazel Park, Michigan, Bradley, or "Brad" as he was lovingly called, was known for his deep connection to family, his devotion as a father, and his passion for his work as an Automotive Paint Technician.
Born on November 17, 1990, in Southfield, Michigan, Bradley was the cherished son of Rodderick and Nancy Heacock. His greatest joy in life was his two children, Brody and Karmyn Martin, with whom he shared an unbreakable bond. Bradley is also survived by his three brothers, Steffen, Joshua, and Zackary Heacock, as well as his loving girlfriend of 16 years, Kaleigh Martin. His grandmother, Nora Walsh, and grandfather, Rickey Trevaskis, were also significant figures in his life.
Brad was passionate about his career in the collision repair industry, where he worked as an automotive painter. He was known for his incredible skills and dedication, earning the respect of his colleagues and customers. In his personal life, Brad enjoyed movies, spending time with his beloved dogs, Dash and Snowball, and indulging in his favorite comfort foods. Above all, his heart belonged to his family, and his love and care for them were evident in everything he did.
His passing has left an immense void in the lives of those who knew him. Brad’s kindness, willingness to lend a helping hand, and his hardworking nature will always be remembered by his family and friends. His family is grateful for the outpouring of love and support, with donations pouring in to help Brad’s children and loved ones.
A fundraiser organized by Steffen Heacock is currently underway, and many have already contributed, including Amanda Williamson, Tracey Gesch, Kimberly Clark, and Darwin Hinman. Their generosity is a testament to the impact Brad had on those around him.
A Memorial Visitation for Bradley will be held on Sunday, October 27th, at 11:00 am, with a service at 3:00 pm, at Hopcroft Funeral Home in Madison Heights, Michigan. His family and friends will gather to celebrate his life and honor his memory.
