Branka Spasojević, Dundalk—The Spasojević family and the community are deeply mourning the loss of Branka Spasojević, who passed away on October 4, 2024, following a long and challenging illness. Branka was a beloved member of her family, leaving behind her husband Vlado, son Vojislav, daughter Vojana, and grandson Leon.
A wake will be held in her honor on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 16:00 to 19:00 at Quinns Funeral Home, 63 Bridge Street, Dundalk. Friends, family, and community members will gather to pay their final respects to Branka. Her funeral service will follow on Monday, October 7, 2024, at the same location at 14:00.
The Spasojević family, through Jelena Milosevic Spasojević, has organized a fundraiser to help with funeral expenses. The community has already begun showing support, with donations coming in to ensure Branka is honored as she deserves. Jelena shared on Facebook, “As most of you have heard, our dear aunt passed away after a long and difficult illness. If you are not able to attend the funeral, donate for flowers and be with the Spasojević family in these difficult moments.”
Jelena Milosevic Spasojević is also managing a GoFundMe campaign titled "In memoriam of Branka Spasojević." Donations have already been made, including €100 from a top donor, €50 from the first donation, and a recent contribution of €20.
Miladinka Milosevic Djordjic expressed her condolences on Facebook as well, joining the many voices in mourning Branka’s passing.
