Brent Robert Mason, St. Clair Shores, MI—The community of St. Clair Shores is in mourning following the tragic passing of Brent Robert Mason, a beloved 27-year-old resident. Brent, known for his cheerful and compassionate nature, left an indelible mark on everyone he met.
Brent was a bright young man on the cusp of completing his engineering degree at Wayne State University. He had previously graduated from South Lake High School and earned an associate degree from Macomb Community College. His passion for the outdoors, hiking, strength training, and spending quality time with family and friends highlighted his vibrant personality.
Brent is survived by his parents, Robert and Pamela (Breault) Mason; his sister and best friend, Samantha (Mason) Osinski; his brother-in-law, Stephen Osinski; and his nephew, Soren Osinski. He will also be deeply missed by his grandparents, Val and Laura Breault, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In memory of Brent, Samantha Osinski has organized a fundraiser to help cover funeral expenses. So far, $390 has been raised out of a $10,000 goal, with contributions from kind donors such as Samantha Huff ($70), Michelle Duhaime ($100), The Kenny Kenny Family ($20), and Anna Solis ($100).
Memorial visitation for Brent will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, located at 25800 Harper Ave., St. Clair Shores, MI. The family requests memorial donations in lieu of flowers.
