Bryan C Kunic, Oahu, HI – A Heartfelt Loss

Bryan C Kunic, tragically passed away while on vacation in Oahu, Hawaii. His unexpected death has left his loved ones and the community in deep sorrow. Bryan was on the beach with his partner, Carolyn Killions, when a massive wave hit, pulling him into the ocean on Monday, October 14th. Sadly, he did not survive the incident.

Carolyn, who referred to Bryan as the love of her life and best friend, shared their fond memories of traveling together, attending concerts, and participating in horse clinics. Bryan, a retired engineer from California Water Service, was passionate about leather crafting and was known for his work making chaps and other items. He was also a skilled pilot, having recently earned his glider license. His love for animals was evident through his five dogs and three horses, whom he cared for dearly.

In the wake of Bryan’s passing, a fundraiser has been organized by Diane Beck-Rygiewicz to assist Carolyn with the expenses of bringing Bryan home and covering funeral costs. So far, generous contributions have been made by Cora Invencion, Juan Duran, Michelle Thomas, Isabella Zanger, and Diane Beck.

Carolyn is left heartbroken by this tragic event and has shared a heartfelt message, expressing her grief and love for Bryan. The loss has not only affected her but also Bryan’s family and friends, as well as the local community, who are rallying to support her in this difficult time.
