Caesar Reyes Jr. (CJ), Las Vegas, NV— The Las Vegas community is mourning the sudden and tragic loss of Caesar Reyes Jr., affectionately known as CJ. He passed away on August 6th while traveling in the Philippines. His unexpected departure has left his family, friends, and loved ones in deep sorrow.
CJ was known for his selfless nature, always putting others before himself. He leaves behind his long-time partner of 17 years, Katrina, and their beloved pet, Legend. CJ’s legacy is one of unconditional love and kindness, touching many lives during his time with us.
A GoFundMe campaign has been set up by Jeffry Campanero to help cover the urgent and necessary expenses to bring CJ home, as well as for funeral and memorial services. The campaign has raised $1,395 of its $30,000 goal, with contributions from 15 donors. Jared Hightower made the top donation of $200, while Jimelle Alviar was the first to contribute $100.
The outpouring of support and condolences on social media reflects the impact CJ had on those around him. Justin C. Reyes shared a heartfelt message: "This still doesn’t feel real. It can’t be real. Kuya, we’re coming to get you, wake up when we get there okay… It’s okay to make this a joke I won’t be mad I promise. Love you." Other messages of sympathy and support have been posted by Trisha Ongjoco Ligeralde, Irene Belen, Bea Barrera, Robert Jardiniano, and many more.
