On Facebook, Ruth Wimsatt Jones expressed deep sorrow, writing, "Awe, our sweet, precious, loving and kind friend… in so many ways, there are no words… for the heartbreak and loss we are ALL feeling of this beautiful soul… a light full of life in the darkness to all she met… spreading endless love, joy, laughter, kindness and sunshine to all she met… vivacious and beautiful inside and out… loving and lighting the earth… and now the heavens… our lives are better because you were in it… we love you and miss you sweet Cassandra Muller… heavens Angel now… truly shining down on us all… RIP Cassie…”
