Charles E. Woolley, Gold Beach, OR— Charles E. Woolley has passed away, leaving his family and community heartbroken. He was recently flown to the Bay Area Hospital on Wednesday, November 7th, due to complications from a heart attack. Despite initial hopes of recovery, his condition worsened, and after being placed on life support, it was discovered that he had metastatic cancer.
On Thursday, November 8th, after being informed of the grave diagnosis, Charles’ family made the difficult decision to put him on comfort care. He peacefully passed away shortly after being removed from life support. The news of his cancer, which had spread throughout his body, came as a shock to his loved ones.
Charles’ passing has left a significant void in the lives of his children, Heather, Eddie, and Michael Woolley, who are now managing his final arrangements, including his cremation and funeral services. A fundraiser has been set up by his daughter Heather Lopez to help cover the unexpected costs, with over $395 raised from generous donations.
The Woolley family is deeply appreciative of the love and support from friends, family, and the community during this heartbreaking time.
Our hearts go out to the Woolley family. May Charles E. Woolley rest in peace, and may his family find comfort in the cherished memories they shared.
