Charlotte Demetria Belton, Lawrenceville, GA— The Lawrenceville community mourns the loss of Charlotte Demetria Belton, who passed away on August 3, 2024, following a courageous battle with cancer. Charlotte was a cherished mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, known for her grace and kindness throughout her life and in her final days.
Charlotte leaves behind three children, who are now facing the future without their beloved mother. Her 17-year-old son is about to begin his senior year in high school, while her 19-year-old daughter is entering her sophomore year in college. Her eldest daughter, aged 25, is just starting her career. The sudden loss of their mother has left the family in need of support to cover both the costs of the memorial service and their daily necessities.
In response to this tragedy, Kamilah Boyd has organized a fundraiser to assist the family. So far, $250 has been raised out of the $8,000 goal, thanks to Kamilah’s generous donation. The community is being asked to come together to help meet this goal and support Charlotte’s children during this challenging time.
The memorial services for Charlotte will be held on August 17, 2024, where friends and family will gather to remember and celebrate her life. The outpouring of love and prayers from the community has been a source of comfort for the family, and any further support is deeply appreciated.
We extend our deepest condolences to the family of Charlotte Demetria Belton. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
