Clinton Lee Baker Jr, Dandridge, TN — Clinton Lee Baker Jr. passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at the Turkey Creek Medical Center in Knoxville, TN, leaving behind a grieving family and community. He was 31 years old.
Clinton, originally from Welch, WV, was known for his strong work ethic as a heavy equipment operator. He was a free spirit, living life to the fullest and always pushing the limits. He had a passion for car shows, fishing, guns, and adored his French Bulldogs — Zoey, Cooie, Oreo, and Jacks. Above all, Clinton treasured the time spent with his family and daughters, who were the center of his world.
Clinton’s sudden passing has left his mother, Freda Hutchinson Lane, his wife, Amber Collins Baker, and his beloved daughters in deep sorrow. He was also preceded in death by his father, Clinton Lee Baker, and his stepfather, Eddie Lane, among others.
As the family faces this immense loss, a fundraiser has been set up by Jonathan Stewart to help cover Clinton’s final expenses. The goal is to raise $2,000, with additional funds being divided between Clinton’s wife and daughter. As of today, $75 has been raised from generous donations by Lee Watts and Jonathan Stewart.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 6:00-9:00 PM at the Berwind Pentecostal Christian Center in Berwind, WV. Funeral services will take place the following day, Sunday, December 15, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Clinton will be laid to rest at Baker Family Cemetery in War, WV.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Clinton Lee Baker Jr.’s family during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.
