Dale A. Rix, Otter Lake, MI— Dale A. Rix passed away on December 2nd, 2024, after battling serious health issues for several weeks. He was under hospital care since October 4th, 2024, due to COPD and CHF. Dale’s condition worsened after his heart stopped on November 30th, but he was revived and placed on life support. Surrounded by his family, he passed peacefully on December 2nd.
Dale was a beloved figure in his family and community, known for his strength, bravery, and humor. He was married to his wife Karen since 1984 and was a loving father to two daughters, Dawn Marie and Debbie. He also cherished his four grandchildren and three stepchildren.
In the wake of his passing, a GoFundMe fundraiser has been set up by his daughter, Debbie Irwin, to assist the family during this difficult time. The goal of the fundraiser is to support the family with memorial contributions and other expenses.
A Celebration of Dale’s Life is planned for July 2025. The family has requested that any donations or contributions be made through the fundraiser or directly to Karen.
