David John Ahleman, Liberty Center, OH—The Liberty Center community is grieving the unexpected loss of David John Ahleman, fondly known as "Dave," who passed away on September 9th, 2024. He was involved in a tragic motorcycle accident while on his way to work. Despite a brave fight through the day, he succumbed to his injuries and passed peacefully.
Dave was well-loved in his community for his kindness and willingness to help anyone in need. He made a lasting impact on the lives of those around him. In memory of his life, a fundraiser has been organized by Shelley Ahleman to assist with funeral costs. The goal of the fundraiser is to raise $9,000, and the community is encouraged to contribute as a way of honoring the kindness Dave always showed.
The funeral service will take place on Saturday, September 14th, 2024, at 11 AM at Heath-Colton Cemetery, with a graveside ceremony in Liberty Center. Following the service, a potluck meal and fellowship will be held at Liberty Center High School.
