Debra Lynn Hubbard, a long-time resident of Cape Coral, FL, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024. Her passing has left her family and community deeply saddened. Known affectionately as Debbie, she touched the lives of many with her warm heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering loyalty. Born on August 13, 1968, in Pequannock, NJ, Debbie embraced life as a proud "Jersey girl," always finding joy in moments spent with family, friends, and her beloved grandchildren.
Debra was a dedicated mother, wife, daughter, and friend. Her love for her family, especially her grandchildren, Christian and Charlee, was evident to everyone who knew her. Whether it was spoiling her grandchildren, enjoying time with her dog Jax, or savoring life’s pleasures like good food, music, and fashion, Debbie lived her life with enthusiasm and care for those around her. She will be remembered for her love of the Indy 500 and her passion for finding the best sales.
Debbie is survived by her mother, Gail Sander; her children, Brittany Fackina and her fiancé Christopher Conder, as well as Devin Hubbard. She is also remembered by her sister, Stacy Scoggins, her brother, Damon Pyle, her nieces, Gabby and Abigail, and her nephews, Jacob, Evan, and Damon. Her husband, William Hubbard, passed away in 2022, and she was also predeceased by her father, Ernest Pyle.
A fundraiser has been organized by Christopher Conder to help with final arrangements and to bring Debbie home. The goal is set at $5,000, and the family is looking to the community for support during this difficult time.
Our hearts go out to Debra’s family as they navigate this profound loss. May they find strength in the cherished memories of Debbie’s vibrant life. Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this time of sorrow.
