Chris was a remarkable man, known for his dedication as an educator, mentor, and family man. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Linda Torok, as well as his mother, Beverly Alexander, and his sister, PJ Godwin, who stood by him in his final days.
Chris earned his PhD in English Rhetoric and Composition from the University of Louisville in 2010. He later became a faculty member at the University of Georgia, where he inspired countless students with his passion for teaching and his commitment to their success. More than just a teacher, Chris was a mentor and a friend who went above and beyond to support his students, providing thoughtful feedback and encouragement.
In his personal life, Chris was deeply devoted to his family. His wife Linda was the love of his life, and they shared a strong, unbreakable bond. Chris was also reunited with his father, David, in his final moments.
