He had been hospitalized in mid-November and was sent home to be with his family for Christmas. Sadly, his health deteriorated over the weekend, and he was unable to recover.
Dustin is survived by his wife, Kayla Renee Dodson, and their four children: two daughters, aged 6 and 18, and two sons, aged 8 and 11. Known for his tender heart, Dustin was a devoted family man with a contagious sense of humor. He loved surfing, golfing, and was a passionate Padres fan. His absence has left a deep void in the hearts of all who knew him.
