London, KY—Elijah Dennis Hollon, the retired Chief of Police and a cherished community figure, has passed away, leaving behind a legacy of service and dedication. Born on April 19, 1947, in Leslie County, Kentucky, Hollon dedicated 34 years to law enforcement, including 17 years as London’s City Police Chief. Known for his protective spirit and commitment, he touched many lives as a mentor, friend, and hero.
Elijah was the son of Eliga Hollon and Florence Nell Cardwell Hollon and was married to the late Linda Lunsford Hollon. He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Damron, and her husband, Jason of London, Kentucky, as well as his stepson, Thomas Combs, and his wife, Jada of Sylacauga, Alabama. His family, including his six grandchildren, along with numerous friends and colleagues, mourn his passing.

Visitation will be available for friends and family starting at 10:00 a.m. before the service, followed by burial at Winchester Cemetery in Winchester, Kentucky.
