Emily Hamilton, San Jose—The San Jose community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Emily Hamilton, a vibrant young woman whose life was tragically cut short. Emily was just 18 years old and had recently graduated from high school in June. She was preparing to begin her college journey at Foothill College this fall, a chapter of her life that now, unfortunately, will never come to be.
Emily was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, niece, sister, and friend who brought immense light and love to everyone around her. Her unexpected passing has left her family, friends, and the entire community in deep sorrow. She was on her way home from work at Great America when her life was unexpectedly taken by a tragic accident.
In this time of immense grief, the family is faced with the difficult task of arranging her final farewell. A fundraiser has been organized by Christina Dutra to help Emily’s father, Jeremy, give his daughter the farewell she so deeply deserves. As of now, $50 has been raised out of the $10,000 goal.
The community is invited to support the Hamilton family during this incredibly challenging time. Donations will go toward funeral expenses and providing the family with the support they need as they navigate this tragedy.
