He was surrounded by his brother, Barry, at the time of his passing. Eric, the youngest child of Paul and Helen Pettingill, was born on July 17th, 1969, and raised in Apopka, Florida.
Eric had a meaningful career, once serving as a member of the flight team at Orlando Regional Medical Center. He fondly remembered his time there even after his medical retirement. He leaves behind a loving family, including his brother Barry, his stepmom Lori Rogers, and several nieces and nephews—Bradley, Megan, Christina, Debbie, Steven, Heather, and Joanne. Eric was also devoted to his loyal furry companion, Spike, who brought him much joy.
A celebration of Eric’s life will take place after the holiday season to give his family time to grieve and honor his memory in a more peaceful setting.
