Eryn Starkey Larson, Hillsborough, NC—The Hillsborough community is in mourning following the recent passing of Eryn Starkey Larson on August 21, 2024. Eryn, aged 41, succumbed to complications from lupus and kidney disease. She leaves behind her husband, Jeremy Larson, and their two children, Deryk (17) and JoLynn (11).
Eryn was a loving mother, wife, and artist known for her vibrant spirit and creative talents. She enjoyed making jewelry and spent cherished moments with her children hunting for quartz and beautiful stones. Eryn also loved spending time at the beach with her family. Her compassion for others and her dedication to her family were evident in everything she did, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In honor of Eryn’s memory, a fundraiser has been organized by her cousin Brook Hampton to support Jeremy and the children during this difficult time. The fundraiser aims to raise $10,000 to cover medical bills, cremation services, and burial arrangements. As of now, $720 has been raised from seven generous donors, including Robyn Yoder and Emily Cervarich, who each contributed $200.
Jeremy plans to honor Eryn’s wishes by spreading some of her ashes in New Hampshire, where she grew up, and in Colorado near her father’s gravesite. Eryn’s legacy of love, kindness, and creativity will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
